The LabStrong AY0017-4 Leak Detector Kit is your first line of defense against water damage. The Leak Detector Kit is a specialized, affordable water alarm and shut-off system. The kit has been designed so it can be easily installed on the inlet water source, operated and maintained. The Leak Detector Kit is simple to install. Included with the kit is a stainless steel two screw mounting plate, which allows for quick and simple installation. No electrical connections are required with the kit because the leak detector is powered by 4 "AA" batteries. A low battery alarm alerts (2 beep, 2 flash alert) the operator when battery change-out is required. LabStrong recommends changing batteries as soon as the low battery alarm alerts. If the batteries go completely dead, the ball valve will stay open and will be unable to prevent water damage. The leak controller features a pull-out battery holder for convenient battery replacement. Included with the leak detector kit are multiple ultra-sensitive water sensors that are daisy-chainable for increased coverage and protection in multiple areas. Also included with the kit are 4 "AA" alkaline batteries, two-screw stainless steel mounting bracket, a ball valve, various plumbing fittings and a 10' piece of clear tubing.
