This RED Gelcoat repair kit is a first of its kind. What makes it special is the use of gelcoat for color shading rather than pigments. The Rayplex RED Gelcoat Repair Kit is the third in line of our gelcoat matching kits. Red being one of the more difficult colors to match as it can have one of three shades; yellow, blue or violet. It also can be made lighter or darker using white or black pigments. The reason we used gelcoat instead of pigments is customers tend to over pigment the gelcoat and then it doesn’t cure properly. Included in the kit are: 250ml Pure Red Gelcoat, 250ml Pure Yellow Gelcoat, 125ml Pure Violet Gelcoat, 1 bottle of Catalyst (hardener), 3 Tubes of Pigments (White, Black & Blue), Mylar Film, 2 Mixing Sticks , 2 Mixing Containers, a Pair of Latex Gloves and the Color Match Chart.
