"The do-it-yourself polyethylene welding and tank repair kit includes everything you need to repair a variety of polyethylene plastic products. This universal welding kit can weld most polyethylene products on the market today including linear, low-density, high-density, washer bottles, battery cases, holding tanks, household containers, fuel tanks, and much more. The kit contains a specially formulated welding wire containing copolymers and adhesives. The welding tool is easy to use and requires only 110-volt power. Always use proper discretion when repairing or welding any damaged part. Instructions for use: * Use proper discretion when repairing or welding any damaged part. * Always keep welding tip clean 1. Remove the damaged item from cold and windy conditions. 2. Pre-clean area to be welded. 3. Preheat the welding gun for 10-15 minutes. 4. V-notch out damaged area, 1/2 to 3/4 of the material thickness. 5. Preheat damaged area well above room temperature. 6. Insert wire into preheat tube and allow wire to become clear/molten. 7. Place tip into v-notched crack and slowly proceed with repair, gradually feeding wire through the tube as you go. 8. Return to the starting point and heat to a smooth glaze for proper bonding. 9. For deeper grooves, a second pass may be necessary to ensure a good seal."
